Starting your Erasmus journey in a new country can feel overwhelming - new city, new university, new people. That’s why ESN VILNIUS TECH offers a Mentoring Program to help you feel at home from the very beginning.

       

What is a Mentor?

A Mentor is a VILNIUS TECH student (or alumni) who volunteers to help you during your first weeks (and beyond!).
Your mentor is your first friend in Vilnius - someone you can rely on, ask questions, and explore the city with.

How can your Mentor help you?

Your mentor can support you with:

  • ✈️ Meeting you at the airport
  • 🏠 Helping you find accommodation and avoid scams
  • 🏫 Showing you the university campus
  • 🗺️ Introducing you to Vilnius city
  • 📄 Explaining university procedures and essentials
  • 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Helping you adapt to life in Lithuania
  • 🚨 Being a contact person in case of need
  • 🎉 Inviting you to ESN events and activities

Why is it useful?

Many exchange students arrive with little knowledge about the university or the city.
While it’s possible to figure everything out alone, it often takes time (and mistakes).

Having a mentor helps you:

  • Settle in faster
  • Feel more confident
  • Avoid common problems
  • Enjoy your Erasmus experience from day one
